What is your opinion about smart phones?

In my opinion, smartphones are the massive new drug of the 21st century, because people use it compulsively and it's easy to get.

But not all drugs are bad, if we know how to use them. The same is true for smart phones; We have all the knowledge in the world in our hands and that allows us to do a million new things. The flow of information it´s also something amazing, we can know at the moment what´s going on in Russia, Australia, even in the Everest. That´s crazy.

What is your opinion about the Chilean politicians?

I honestly feel that chilean politicians are the main problem and the reason for the situation of crisis and mistrut that we are experiencing as a country, with some few exceptions. People don´t believe them anymore. The economic distance between ordinary citicenz and politicians is such that the problem it´s not only political, but also ethical. It cannot be that the ruling class does not know the living conditions of common people. I find it overwhelming.

What is your opinion about legalizing marijuana?

I´m pretty sure that everyone knows at least one person who uses marijuana, and that´s not a problem at all. Legal drugs like alcohol or cigarrettes are worse than cannabis, causing many fatal  accidents. So what´s the problem? If marijuana is legalized, people can use it safefully, and don´t have to go to the dark market to get it. Many countries like Canada, Uruguay, and some states from USA, has legal weed. Also, with the legalization, a new labor market would be opened, generating new jobs and promoting the economy.

What is your opinion about  climate change?

I´m conviced that we are the problem, as humans. Our lifestyle it´s incompatible with the envyronment since indutrial revolution, maybe before. Large polluting factories, millions of cars, systematic deforestation, and many other issues are the main seed of our global economic system and, if that doesn´t change, maybe the end will be soon.

What is your opinion about cloning?

I stongly believe that the science will be responsible for our dehumanization, playing god which it has been doing for a while. If cloning becomes a reality, we will lose our essence as human beings, our senses and our nature. Let´s leave those topic for science fiction books. Altough it may be a useful contribution to medicine, who knows...
